About Me

A glimpse into my life, my passions, and why I plan trips

Hi! I’m Elizabeth—wife, mom, former teacher, homeschool mom, Christian, and travel advisor. Travel has always been a passion for me, but helping people plan trips that fit their lives and their dreams? That’s my calling.

My love of travel began long before I became a travel advisor. Growing up, my parents made every vacation feel like an adventure—even when we returned to familiar places like New York City. It wasn’t just the same hotel, same beach, or same activities every year; each trip offered something new to explore and discover. From iconic city streets to quiet coastal towns, these experiences taught me to embrace variety, stay curious, and savor the excitement of seeing a place in a new way. Because of them, travel has always felt like more than a getaway—it’s a chance to explore, learn, and create lasting memories.

Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent years as a special education teacher, a role that taught me patience, empathy, and how to see the world from different perspectives. Those skills carried beautifully into my next chapter: being a mom to my daughter, whom I homeschool. Homeschooling has been a joy and a challenge, blending creativity, flexibility, and structure in ways that continue to shape how I approach life—and travel. Balancing teaching at home with family life has deepened my appreciation for thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and making experiences meaningful—skills I now bring to every trip I help plan.

Just before COVID hit, my husband and I made a decision that would change the way my family traveled: We bought a travel trailer. We wanted a way to explore new places without leaving our pets behind, and having our own little home on wheels made that possible. Suddenly road trips became more flexible, spontaneous, and personal. We could bring our dogs and cat along, set our own pace, and discover hidden gems off the beaten path. That trailer has given us freedom, comfort, and memories that we’ll never forget—and it reminded me that travel isn’t just about destinations, it’s about creating experiences that fit your life.

In May 2025, I officially became a travel advisor. At first, I wanted to make a little extra money to help my family with bills and to give us more opportunities to travel, but it quickly became about something bigger: sharing my love of travel with others. I’m excited to help people turn their travel dreams into reality, whether that’s a first-time cruise, a family vacation, or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Being a travel advisor allows me to combine my personal experience, planning skills, and passion for exploring the world to inspire others to travel smarter and more intentionally.

I started this blog to share travel ideas, tips, and inspiration that make you pause and think, “I want to go there. Can Elizabeth plan it for me?” Whether it’s a cruise, a family vacation, or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, my goal is to help you turn inspiration into an amazing, stress-free experience.

Fun fact: I love helping people plan trips almost as much as I love traveling with my own family—and I can’t wait to help you plan yours!
